This project is a real-time–ready interior environment created using 3ds Max and Unreal Engine 5, focusing on realistic daylight, clean geometry, and physically accurate materials.
All assets were modeled in 3ds Max with an emphasis on efficient topology and reusable components. Materials were authored using a PBR workflow and optimized for real-time rendering. The scene was assembled and lit in Unreal Engine 5, utilizing Lumen for global illumination and reflections to achieve natural light bounce and soft interior shadows.
The lighting setup is driven primarily by a directional sunlight source combined with skylight illumination, allowing daylight to interact naturally with fabric, wood, and painted surfaces. Post-processing was kept minimal to preserve realistic exposure, color balance, and material response.
This environment was designed to be suitable for architectural visualization, interactive walkthroughs, and real-time presentations while maintaining a high level of visual fidelity.
